Advocacy & Client Services

We connect clients with necessary community resources to address medical, social, community, legal, financial, educational, and other needs. Through this positive intervention we seek to empower individuals to build assets, promote resiliency, develop self-respect and independence, and become self-sufficient.

SOCIAL SERVICES

We serve all community members and have cultural and linguistic expertise with Spanish, French, Karenni, Karen, Burmese, Fon, Goun, Mina, and Nuer populations. Our diverse staff help with interpreting, transitional, social and emotional support. We work as the community liaison and case manager by meeting one-on-one with youth, parents, and families to help them assess their needs, matching and/or referring them to various community programs.

Refugee Employment Services

Newly arrived refugees become contributing members of the American economy. Our office supports their transition with employment counseling, resume writing, job placement and skill building to attain economic self-sufficiency through job opportunities within the Austin area.
