The Austin Human Rights Commission and the Welcome Center have teamed to bring Carl Wilkens to Austin with his amazing first hand accounts of Rwanda's darkest days in 1994. His presentations highlight what we as global citizens have in common, how our commonalities are so much greater than our differences and what that means for our response to violence – from bullying to genocide. Bring a friend, bring your heart and be ready to be moved in ways you never imagined! Thursday, August 18th in the large meeting room at the Austin Public Library. Doors open at 6 p.m. Free to the public. More
