College Access Program
College Access
In the area of education, the Welcome Center, Inc. has received a grant to assist students who are thinking of going to college. The Welcome Center created the College Access program to guide students in the college process. We will be reaching out to the Minnesota School Districts in Austin, Albert Lea and surrounding areas. We will be taking a holistic approach by working not just with the student but also with parents and schools. The program is open to all immigrant and refugee students in grades 9 -12 as well as recent graduates or those who have received their GED.
